Hey, I’m Charys!

I’m a young photographer based in North Cornwall, UK, working to expand my photography practice. I’m currently on a year long break from studying photography at Bath Spa. During this break I am experimenting with a wide range of photographic projects which is helping me discover what really inspires me. I enjoy the flexibility of exploring different styles as it keeps my work fresh and allows me to learn new skills.

I aim to create photos that are natural and honest, capturing moments as they unfold rather than forcing them. I take every shoot as an opportunity to tell a story, getting to know people and creating a space where they can be comfortable and relaxed.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually exploring the local areas, trying to find new inspiration for more images. I also enjoy working on crochet projects, and spending time with my family and friends.
